Since the color blue mirrors the tranquility of water, blue tiles work well in kitchens and baths as backsplashes, accent walls and floors alike. Create a mosaic backsplash around your kitchen sink or directly over your oven with blue ceramic tiles. Larger blue tiles work well as accent walls while tiles in organic forms and geometric shapes make stunning backsplashes.
Denim blue, with its navy hues, is remnicent of a nautical air which can really take shape in a master suite bathroom if you are looking to create a serene space with a calming color palette. Contrast your cool blues by mixing your tiles with warm accent metals like brass or gold through cabinet pulls, sink faucets and shower heads.
